LIGHTWORKS OPTICS RECEIVES $3.6 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT FROM LOCKHEED MARTIN FOR THE FABRICATION OF 28 INFRARED FOCUS ASSEMBLIES FOR FIGHTER AIRCRAFT
TUSTIN, California. – March 17, 2006 – LightWorks Optics, Inc. was recently award a 3.6 million dollar contract by Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] for the fabrication of 28 Infrared Focus Assemblies for fighter aircraft. LightWorks Optics, Inc., a Tustin California based company, is a leading solutions provider focused on the design, development, and fabrication of advanced integrated optical systems. LightWorks has been repeatedly recognized by Lockheed Martin as an outstanding supplier of high technology optical systems, and this award is the second LightWorks has received from Lockheed Martin for these optical subsystems. LightWorks had previously produced 43 Infrared Focus assemblies for fighter aircraft.
